Dmytro O. Kyrychok (Kiria)

Soldier Dmytro Kirichok (call sign Kirya) died on April 22, 2022, during a combat sortie in the area of the village of Ruska Lozova in the Kharkiv region. The warrior was 36 years old. Dmytro was born in Kharkiv. He graduated from school No. 112. In 2005, he obtained the qualification of a locomotive and electric locomotive assistant driver at the Kharkiv Vocational Lyceum of Railway Transport. He worked as a driver, performed insulation of houses and apartments. His last job was at a Polish textile manufacturing company. He played football and loved to attend matches with his son, who was also passionate about this sport. With the start of the full-scale invasion, the man went to defend his family and native city from the occupiers. He joined the special unit "Kraken" of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. He was a UAV operator. "He was a wonderful man and a loving father. We miss him very much. Dmytro will forever remain in the memory of his relatives, friends and comrades as a very good, responsible person. Heroes do not die, they remain in our hearts! Eternal memory and glory to the Ukrainian warrior who defended his native Ukraine and each of us!" - wrote the wife of the fallen defender. Dmytro was buried in the Alley of Glory of cemetery No. 18 in his hometown. At home, his wife Iryna and son Danylo were waiting for him. The defender was posthumously awarded the medal "For Combat Merit".
