Serviceman Dmytro Munaiev was killed on March 2, 2022, during a hostile air strike on the Kharkiv region. In 10 days, the defender would have turned 43 years old. Dmytro was from the Kharkiv region. He studied at the Kruchanska Secondary School of I-II levels, and graduated from the National University of Food Technologies. He worked at Epicenter, helping customers choose tools. He was always interested in military affairs, so when the Russian-Ukrainian war began, the man joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He participated in the ATO in Donbas. During the full-scale war, Dmytro again stood up to defend Ukraine as part of one of the TRO units. He was a signalman. "He went to fight for the first time in 2014 and then realized that this was his business. He was always sensitive and kind. He helped everyone, and then himself. On February 24 at 5:00 am, as soon as he woke up, he began to gather to the Kharkiv TRO. He almost daily sent me photos of cats and dogs, street or those in their company," said the 15-year-old daughter of the hero, Marina. "Dmytro... I cry together with your beloved. I cry together with your friends. I cry because I will never see you again. It's easier for you, you're in heaven - with God. And we are in hell. I had the honor and honor to know you, to be by your side. Sleep peacefully, indifferent, kind, patriot," wrote his friend Pavlo Dolzhenyuk. May the Kingdom of Heaven and the earth be soft for you," wrote his friend Sasha Garbuz. Dmytro was buried in his native Kharkiv region. The man left behind a wife and daughter.
