Dmytro O. Sharpar

Dmytro Oleksandrovych Sharpar was born on December 21, 1997 in Kharkiv. He started figure skating in 2011. He trained in his native Kharkiv, at the Spartak sports school. He was initially a singles skater, but later switched to pair skating. He performed in a duet with Kharkiv native Anastasia Pobizenko. He was a member of the national figure skating team of Ukraine. Off the ice, Dmytro Sharpar was interested in football. After retiring from competitive skating, he was an artist in the ice show "Grand". He was a participant in the Russian-Ukrainian war. On January 23, 2023, the public organization for the development of figure skating "Skate Ukraine" reported the death of Dmytro Sharpar. As stated, 25-year-old Dmytro Sharpar was killed in battles near Bakhmut during the Battle of Donbas.
