      Served as a rescuer since 1995. Had two higher education degrees: in 2001 graduated from the Donbas State Academy of Construction and Architecture, obtained a qualification as an economist, in 2008 — from the National University of Civil Protection of Ukraine with a specialty in "Fire Safety," obtained a qualification as a fire safety engineer. In 2002–2003 held the position of inspector of the state fire supervision service and engineer of the state fire supervision service, from 2011 to 2015 was the head of the unit. In 2015, he headed the 15th fire and rescue squad.

      Died on February 21, 2017, at the Mechnikov Regional Clinical Hospital (Dnipro) from severe abdominal injuries sustained on February 2 during the shelling of the State Emergency Service's supply point in Avdiivka, Donetsk region.
