Dmytro O. Yudenko

Marine Dmytro Yudenko was killed on June 13, 2023, in battle with Russian invaders near the village of Staromaiorskoye in the Donetsk region. The defender was forever 26 years old. Dmytro was born in the village of Novolazarivka, Mykolaiv region, in a large family. He grew up in the village of Petropavlivka. There he studied at school. Later, he graduated from Bratske Vocational School No. 17. He worked in construction in Kyiv. During the full-scale invasion, in March 2022, the man joined the ranks of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 35th separate marine brigade named after Rear Admiral Mykhailo Ostrohradskyy. He was a rifleman-assistant grenadier. Together with his comrades-in-arms, he defended the eastern direction. "My brother was a true patriot of his country and could not stand aside. Dmytro bravely fought for our peace and our freedom," said the deceased's sister Viktoria. "Dmytro was a cheerful person who always supports and advises. He had his own opinion and knew how to express it. A bright and friendly person. A brother who will always support," added his sister Ivanna. My brother was a wonderful person, I love him very much. He was cheerful, intelligent, kind," said his sister Kateryna. The defender was buried in the village of Petropavlivka, Mykolaiv region. Dmytro is survived by his mother, sisters, brothers, and nephews.
