Dmytro P. Kovaliov

Chief Sergeant Dmytro Kovalov was killed on April 18, 2022 in his native Luhansk region. During the enemy artillery shelling, the defender received injuries incompatible with life, he was 38 years old. Dmytro was from the Luhansk region. He served as an inspector in the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine. At the farewell, his comrades-in-arms remembered Dmytro as a courageous, strong-willed person. He did not hesitate for a minute when the need arose to defend Ukraine. And until his last breath, he carried out the task of protecting his native land. The serviceman was buried in Cherkasy. Dmytro left behind his parents, wife and two children. Chief Sergeant Dmytro Kovalov was posthumously awarded the Order of Courage of the III degree.
