Dmytro P. Shchuryk (Kamaz)

Dmytro Shchuryk (call sign Kamaz), a serviceman, was killed on December 6, 2022, in a battle with Russian invaders near the village of Predtechyne in the Donetsk region. The defender was 26 years old. Dmytro was born in the village of Knyahynynok, Volyn region. He stuwas killed at Rokytne Lyceum No. 38. He graduated from the Lutsk Cooperative Professional College, obtaining the qualification of a commodity expert. He then enrolled at the Lviv University of Trade and Economics. He served his military service in Kyiv. He lived in the city of Rozhyshche, Volyn region. He was married and raised a daughter. He worked at a car wash. He loved to travel. He was passionate about cars and dreamed of his own car service. During the full-scale war, the man joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to protect his country and family from the invaders. He held the position of an electrician-motorist in the engineering and camouflage platoon of the engineering and camouflage company of the engineering and camouflage battalion. "He had many friends and comrades, always ready to help everyone. Courageous and honest, he bravely faced any challenges of fate. When the full-scale war began, he went to defend Ukraine without hesitation. He always said and believed that we would definitely win. "The ruthless war took the young heart of a cheerful and incredibly charismatic graduate of our school. This is a catastrophic loss. The loss of a true person, an exemplary family man, a beloved husband, a wonderful son, a reliable brother, and the best father of a little daughter. The news of Dima's death shocked all of us. We will remember him as a worthy person. We bow our heads in sorrow before the faithful son of Ukraine. Rest in peace, warrior!" the lyceum he graduated from noted. The warrior was buried on the Alley of Glory in the city of Rozhyshche, Volyn region. Dmytro is survived by his parents, sister, wife, and daughter.
