- Soldier Dmytro Voityuk was killed on April 20, 2022, in a battle with the occupiers near the town of Pryvillia in the Luhansk region. The warrior was 23 years old. Dmytro was born in the village of Budo-Ryzhany in the Zhytomyr region. He graduated from the local secondary school. Immediately after graduation, he began working at the mining and processing plant in the town of Irshansk. During the full-scale Russian invasion, he defended Ukraine as part of the 26th Artillery Brigade named after General Horunzhy Roman Dashkevych. He held the position of driver-electrician for radar reconnaissance in the artillery reconnaissance division of the military unit. "He was a cheerful person, a loving brother and son. He was the right hand for our parents. Our support in the family. For his friends, he will remain a cheerful, kind, and loyal soldier. He dreamed of starting his own family, but unfortunately, he didn't have the time. We miss him very much," said the deceased's sister, Diana. The defender was buried in the village of Zakomirnia in the Zhytomyr region. Dmytro is survived by his parents, sisters, brothers, and a nephew. Soldier Dmytro Voityuk was posthumously awarded the Order of Courage of the 3rd class.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
