- Soldier Dmytro Chasovskykh was killed on August 13, 2023, while carrying out a combat mission near the village of Ivanivske in the Donetsk region. On September 16, the defender would have turned 34 years old. Dmytro was born and lived in the city of Chervonohrad, Lviv region. He studied at secondary school No. 12. Then he served his conscription. After demobilization, he returned home and went to work at mine No. 4. Since 2021, he has been working at the Stepova mine of the State Enterprise "Lvivvuhillia", in the coal mining section. He was married and raised two children. He tried to devote all his free time to his family. During the full-scale war, in April 2022, the man was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 80th separate air assault brigade. He was an artilleryman. Together with his comrades-in-arms, he defended the Donetsk region, in particular the Bakhmut direction. During his service, he was awarded the medal "For Military Service to Ukraine". Colleagues and comrades-in-arms remember Dmytro as a faithful and reliable comrade, a kind and decent person, a brave and selfless son of Ukraine. "Always a smiling and cheerful friend... Eternal and bright memory," wrote Andriy Kharko. "During his service, the hero proved himself to be a responsible, courageous, and brave serviceman. He bravely and courageously went on combat missions, knowing that he might not return. He showed by his own example that he is devoted to the military oath and the Ukrainian people, courageously fulfilling his military duty in the battle for Ukraine, its freedom and independence," said the close ones of the fallen. The paratrooper was buried in the village of Bendiuha, Lviv region. Dmytro is survived by his mother, wife, son, daughter, relatives, friends, and comrades-in-arms.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
