Dmytro S. Chernenko (Chornyi)

Dmytro Serhiyovych Chernenko was born on February 17, 1995, in Fastiv, Kyiv region. He loved playing football and computer games. He dreamed of mastering a new profession in the field of IT technologies and creating a family. From 2015, he began service in the National Guard of Ukraine, while studying at the Kharkiv Academy of the National Guard on the faculty of management. He participated in the ATO as part of the Kulchytsky battalion. In 2017, he joined the Azov Regiment. At the time of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, he was serving in the OZSP "Azov". He held the position of instructor (sniper) of the 2nd sniper detachment of the special purpose group of the OZSP "Azov". On April 2, 2022, he was awarded the Order "For Courage" III degree. He was killed on May 8, 2022, in battles with Russian occupiers during the defense of Mariupol, Donetsk region.
