He was a professional football player and a player for the Kyiv football club "Obolon". His favorite football club was "Dynamo". He lived with his family in the capital. With the start of the full-scale invasion, he voluntarily joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He held the position of SPG-9 grenade launcher in the 72nd separate mechanized brigade. For his service, the warrior received a number of awards, including the medal "Defender of the Fatherland" and "Honor. Glory. State" (posthumously). "My father was a patriot and was proud that on February 24, 2022, he became part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. I am proud that he is my father, for me he will always be an example of courage, bravery and dedication to his work. Father always tried to help people and animals. Together we loved to go to the movies, it was our tradition, every time he managed to come to Kyiv for at least a few days, we went to the cinema. Father taught me a lot. I can't imagine how I'll live without him," says the son of the fallen hero, Daniil. The defender was buried at the Berkovetsky cemetery in Kyiv. Dmytro is survived by his parents and son Daniil.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
