Dmytro S. Krasnianskyi (Dimon)

Sergeant Dmytro Krasnianskyi (call sign Dimon) was killed on November 9, 2022 near the village of Pavlivka in Donetsk region. In the battle with the enemy, he came under fire and received a fatal shrapnel wound to the lungs. In two days, he would have turned 37 years old. Dmytro was born in Luhansk. He graduated with a red diploma from the V. Dahl East Ukrainian National University with a degree in "Urban Construction". In civilian life, he worked as an interior designer. He loved to travel, taught himself and played the guitar, drimba, and sopilka, was interested in history, and engaged in photography - he was a well-rounded individual. With the start of the full-scale Russian invasion, the man volunteered to the military enlistment office and joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine in March 2022. He underwent training and became a serviceman of the 68th Separate Yager Brigade named after Oleksa Dovbush. Shortly before his death, he was promoted to the rank of Sergeant. "He always helped a lot of people, did a lot of good... and would have done more if he had remained alive..." said his beloved Yulia. Dmytro was buried at the Marsovoye Field of the Lychakiv Cemetery in Lviv. He is survived by his mother and fiancée.
