Dmytro S. Kushnariov

Military serviceman Dmytro Kushnaryov was killed in action on July 28, 2022, defending Kharkiv Oblast. He was 22 years old. Dmytro was born in the city of Sievierodonetsk in Luhansk Oblast. He finished school and dreamed of working in the police. In 2020, he went to serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine: first under mobilization, and then signed a contract. When the full-scale war began, Dmytro's parents moved to Zhytomyr, closer to the location of their son's military unit. And the young man performed combat tasks in Kharkiv Oblast. "Our son was killed in action defending the Motherland. He was killed in action for all of us. We will live on for him and remember him," said Dmytro's father, Serhiy Kushnaryov, to journalists. Due to the Russian occupation and constant hostilities, the defender was buried not in his native Luhansk Oblast, but in Zhytomyr. The hero did not have time to start his own family, so he left behind only his parents.
