Dmytro S. Repetylo (Repa)

Soldier Dmytro Repetilo (call sign Repa) was killed by shrapnel on February 19, 2023. The warrior was carrying out a combat mission near the settlement of Zarichne in the Donetsk region, where he came under enemy artillery fire. The defender was forever 32 years old. Dmytro was born in Kryvyi Rih, Dnipropetrovsk region. He studied at the Inhulets Vocational Lyceum, where he obtained the profession of a car mechanic. He worked in his specialty at the Inhulets Mining and Processing Plant. In his free time, he sang at festive events, corporate events, and weddings. He was a participant in the local folk vocal group "Moonlight Radiance". During the full-scale war, he defended the country as part of the 25th separate airborne Sich brigade. He was a sapper. "He was a very bright person, with a kind heart. Tender, loving. He will always remain in our memory and in our hearts, always smiling Repik. There will be no one like him. We miss him very much. Dmytro will always be our bright ray of light!" said Olena, the deceased's beloved girlfriend. Dmytro was buried in the Alley of Glory in the village of Shyroka Dacha. The defender is survived by his parents, sister, daughter, and beloved girlfriend. On July 18, 2024, a memorial plaque in Dmytro's honor was installed on the facade of school No. 99, where he studied.
