- Soldier Dmytro Tupytsia (call sign Lisnik) was killed on March 20, 2023, while defending the city of Bakhmut in the Donetsk region. The fighter received a fatal gunshot wound to the abdomen. The defender was 39 years old. Dmytro was born in the village of Potashnya, Vinnytsia region. He lived in the village of Lisniche. He graduated from school. He then entered a vocational school. He was supposed to obtain an electrician's qualification, but did not complete his studies. He worked abroad for most of his life. During the full-scale Russian invasion, the man joined the local Territorial Defense Forces. He served in the 120th separate brigade of the Territorial Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He held the position of a machine gunner. "My father was a wonderful person and a great dad to three daughters. He loved life, was sociable. He was always for justice. On the second day of the full-scale war, he was mobilized. He went to protect his family and the Motherland," said Lilia Tupytsia. The defender was buried in the village of Lisniche, Vinnytsia region. Dmytro is survived by his parents, wife, and three children.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
