- Senior soldier Dmytro Andreiev was killed on December 24, 2022, while performing his duties in a military unit in the city of Lozova in the Kharkiv region. The soldier suddenly fell ill. He was killed in the ambulance from acute circulatory failure and ischemic heart disease. Four days before this, the warrior had turned 39 years old. Dmytro was born in the city of Yunokomunarivsk (now Bunhe) in the Donetsk region. In 2003, he obtained the profession of an accountant at the Kupyansk Vocational School No. 64. He lived with his family in Kharkiv. Recently, he worked as a taxi driver. During the full-scale Russian invasion, the man joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 769th separate radar company of the 164th radio engineering brigade. He held the position of senior rifleman of the security platoon. "For us, with our daughter Maria, dad will forever remain a hero, although he did not die on the battlefield. From the first days of the full-scale invasion, Dima could not remain on the sidelines, so he almost immediately went as a volunteer to the military enlistment office. He was very eager to liberate the Kharkiv direction, because at that time his mother remained in the occupied village of Bohuslavka. But fate disposed of it differently... The village of his mother-in-law was deoccupied in the fall, but she never got to see her son alive. For all of us, this was a terrible sudden loss, because Dima never complained about his health. I am trying to live on, raising our common and long-awaited daughter and carrying the bright memory of our father," said the fighter's beloved woman, Olena. The serviceman was buried in the Alley of Glory of the central cemetery in the city of Lozova in the Kharkiv region. Dmytro is survived by his mother Halyna Viktorivna, his daughter from his first marriage Viktoriia, his civil wife Olena, and his daughter Maria.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
