From an early age, he decided that he wanted to serve the people of Ukraine, so after school he enrolled at the Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. He then worked in the police in Vinnytsia. Before the start of the full-scale war, he resigned from the police with the rank of senior lieutenant. In the first days of the invasion, the man went to defend his country. At first, he was in the Territorial Defense Forces, and on March 2, 2022, he became a fighter in the military unit A0549 of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
