Dmytro V. Horofianiuk

Soldier Dmytro Horofyanyuk (call sign Hora) was killed on March 23, 2023, while carrying out a combat mission in the area of the village of Kostromka in the Kherson region. The defender was 25 years old. Dmytro was born in the village of Puzyrky, Vinnytsia region. In 2019, he graduated with honors from the Polissia National University and obtained the qualification of a scientist-agronomist. He lived abroad, where he studied and worked. In his free time, he loved to go fishing. During the full-scale war, the man without hesitation took up the defense of the Motherland. Since July 2022, he has been serving in the ranks of the 59th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade named after Yakov Handziuk. He held the position of a rigger in the rigging platoon. "The best brother, uncle, son and grandson! He was the support and support for all of us," said the deceased's sister Maria. The military was buried in his native village. Dmytro is survived by his parents, grandmother, two sisters and nephews.
