- Sailor Dmytro Hoshuliak (call sign Mitya) was killed on January 8, 2023, while performing a combat mission near the city of Kreminna in the Luhansk region. He would have turned 24 years old in 9 days. Dmytro was born in the city of Blahovishchenske, Kirovohrad region. He stuwas killed at the local school No. 1. Then he obtained the profession of a truck crane driver at the Blahovishchenske Vocational and Technical School. When he was 18 years old, he decided to join the Armed Forces of Ukraine under a contract. He participated in the Anti-Terrorist Operation in Donbas. Later, he returned to civilian life. With the start of the full-scale Russian invasion, Dmytro went to war again. He served in the ranks of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He was a fighter of the 137th separate battalion of the marine corps of the 35th brigade. "Dima was an example for all of us. He was always cheerful, kind, sincere, courageous, brave, both as a man, a father, and a warrior for his Ukraine. He lived a very short but conscious life of a real man. He is a true Hero of Ukraine and an example for all of us! Unfortunately, he will not see Ukraine's victory, for which he fought so hard! Our little son is left without a loving father, and I am without reliable support and protection," said the wife of the fallen. The marine was buried in his hometown. At home, Dmytro was awaited by his mother Iryna, brother Oleksandr, wife Alina, and son Danyil.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
