Dmytro V. Kaplunov (Dober)

Killed in action on December 1, 2019, near the village of Starolaspa in the Boikivskyi district of Donetsk region. The day before, the special forces group "Alpha" was carrying out a combat mission for reconnaissance and observation in the gray zone near the village of Starolaspa. At night, during the group's transition after completing their tasks, Dmytro triggered a mine. The group took the officer's weapon and documents, while his body remained at the explosion site and was captured by the militants. The transfer of the body to the Ukrainian side took place on December 7.
