- 32-year-old Lieutenant Dmytro Lysenko (call sign Liza) was killed on June 11, 2022, while performing a combat mission in the area of Severodonetsk, Luhansk region. The officer received a mortal explosive injury during the artillery shelling. Dmytro was born in Vinnytsia. He graduated from the local school No. 2. He served in the army and simultaneously stuwas killed at the Academy of Internal Affairs. Since 2012, he has served in the 3028 unit of the National Guard of Ukraine, which is based in Kalynivka, Vinnytsia region. During the Revolution of Dignity in 2013-2014, he protected civilians and maintained order. In 2014, he participated in the Anti-Terrorist Operation, fought in the battles for the city of Izium in Kharkiv region and the city of Sloviansk in Donetsk region. From the first day of the full-scale invasion, Lieutenant Dmytro Lysenko, commander of the platoon of instructors (instructor) of the 1st battalion of operational assignment, took part in the defense of Ukraine against Russian occupants. During the war, he was awarded the MOU breastplate "Badge of Honor". "I remember how on February 24, he received a call from work that it was not a training alarm, it was war... Having kissed his sleeping son, he left. After that, he only saw him on video calls... And his son is his little copy. Whenever he called, he never complained about anything, only supported us, although I know it was hard for him. He always smiled, just like in the photo. He is our Hero, forever was, is and will be! He was a reliable support and an excellent husband and father to our son," - said his wife Marianna. The officer was buried in the Alley of Glory in Sabariv Cemetery, Vinnytsia region. Dmytro is survived by his father, brother, wife, and 5-year-old son Matvii. Posthumously, Lieutenant Dmytro Lysenko was awarded the Order "For Courage" of the III degree.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
