Biography
Dmytro Volodymyrovych Yevdokymov was born on October 4, 1998, in the town of Trostianets in Sumy region. He graduated from the Sumy Regional Lyceum-Internat for talented and gifted youth. He actively participated in the Sumy Regional Small Academy of Sciences. He was an active participant and later an instructor at the patriotic youth camp "Kolovrat" in Sumy region, and one of the organizers of the large-scale festival "From Ukraine - to Ukraine." In 2016, he enrolled in the Faculty of History at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. In his third year, Dmytro took an academic leave to study at the Kharkiv branch of the Ukrainian Leadership Academy. After being drafted into the Armed Forces of Ukraine, he began military service at the 199th Training Center of the Air Assault Troops of Ukraine, and subsequently served in the 95th Separate Air Assault Brigade. After his service, he resumed his studies at the Faculty of History at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, where he continued to pursue the educational program "American Studies and European Studies." He did not manage to complete his fourth year. With the start of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, Dmytro Yevdokymov was drafted into the Armed Forces of Ukraine on February 26, 2022. He heroically died on March 29, 2022, with a weapon in hand, defending the city of Kyiv from the Russian aggressor in the Zhytomyr direction. Dmytro Yevdokymov was buried in his native Trostianets in Sumy region.Burial place
