- Grenade launcher Dmytro Harbuz (call sign Tsyhan) was killed on November 16, 2023, near the city of Bakhmut in the Donetsk region. While trying to evacuate his wounded comrades, the warrior received a fatal injury as a result of enemy artillery shelling. He was considered missing for some time. The defender was 34 years old. The fighter was born in the city of Merefa in the Kharkiv region. He obtained the profession of a welder and builder at the Kharkiv Vocational College. In his free time, he loved to cook and collect mushrooms. During the full-scale war, he took up the defense of the Motherland as part of the 77th separate airmobile brigade. He held the position of a grenade launcher in the 3rd airmobile platoon of the 3rd airmobile company of the 4th airmobile battalion. He had the status of a participant in combat operations. He was awarded the "Veteran of War" badge, the medal "To the Unbreakable Heroes of the Russian-Ukrainian War" (from the city of Merefa), and the Order of Courage of the III degree (posthumously). "My beloved husband is the most polite, kindest, and most sensitive person. For me, he was the best," said his wife Olha. The defender was buried in the Alley of Glory of the Shevchenkivskyi Cemetery in the city of Merefa. Dmytro left behind a wife and two daughters.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
