Eduard V. Lukandii (Edison)

Senior Sergeant Eduard Lukandiy (call sign Edison) was killed on October 1, 2022, during a battle in Kherson while covering his comrades. The warrior was only 24 years old. Eduard Lukandiy was from Transcarpathia. He stu at the Mukachevo Agricultural College, majoring in "Farming." He practiced boxing. He loved dogs and adored reading poetry. In civilian life, he worked at LLC "Flextronics," where he held the position of work distributor. During the full-scale war, he defended Ukraine as part of the 128th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade. He was a squad commander. He was awarded the badge "Veteran of War" and the medal "Participant in Combat Actions." "He was always cheerful, energetic, with a great sense of humor. He could be asked for help at any time. Eduard was a true patriot of his country and could lend a hand in difficult moments. We miss him very much..." said one of the deceased's best friends, Ekman Roland. The warrior was buried at the Alley of Glory in Mukachevo. Eduard is survived by his aunt, beloved girlfriend, and friends.
