Eduard Yu. Horoshochok (Ed Ded)

Horoshochok Eduard Yuriyovych was born on November 15, 1989, in the urban-type settlement of Novi Sanzhary, Poltava region. He participated in the Revolution of Dignity, and in 2014-2016 he served in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, participating in battles for the village of Shyrokyne. After being wounded in the shoulder, he was discharged. He headed the Poltava NGO "Voroskol," which was engaged in military-patriotic education. He also worked with other servicemen to establish organic production in the Poltava region. He served in the separate special purpose unit of the National Guard of Ukraine "Azov." During the full-scale military invasion of Russia in Ukraine, he defended the city of Mariupol in Donetsk region, and was present at Azovstal. He was killed on April 15, 2022.
