- Major Fedir Panasyuk killed in action on March 1, 2022, during the defense of Kyiv from Russian invaders. The officer remained forever 29 years old. Fedir Petrovych was born in the village of Znosychi, Rivne region. He stu at the school there, which he graduated with honors in 2008. In 2010, he graduated from the Ostroh Regional Lyceum with enhanced military and physical training. In 2015, he graduated from the Military Institute of Telecommunications and Information Technologies named after the Heroes of Kruty. He was sent to serve in the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. Four years later, he got married. The family lived in Kyiv. In his free time, he loved to go mushroom picking, hunting, and fishing. With the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion, Fedir participated in the defense of the capital. During his entire service, the officer was repeatedly awarded medals, including the "10 Years of Conscientious Service" and the "For Assistance to Military Intelligence of Ukraine" of the 2nd degree, and posthumously, the Order of Bohdan Khmelnytsky of the 3rd degree. "Fedir was a cheerful person, a loving husband and son, a caring father, a loyal friend, the soul of the company, everyone was drawn to him and loved spending time with him because he loved to help and meet everyone halfway. He was honest, empathetic, generous, kind, brave, and devoted to Ukraine," said his wife, Tetyana. The hero was buried in his native village, where one of the streets was renamed in his honor. Fedir left behind his parents, brother, sister, wife, and son, who was 1 year old at the time of his father's death.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
