Fedir (Ihor) V. Andriiesh (Anhel)

Senior soldier Fedir Andriesh (call sign Angel) was killed on December 18, 2022, while carrying out a combat mission in the area of the village of Chervona Dibrova in the Donetsk region. The defender remained forever 43 years old. Fedir was a native and resident of the city of Hertsa, Chernivtsi region. He received a secondary general education. He worked as a mechanic and always dreamed of his own car service. He participated in combat operations in other countries. He got married. He always tried to provide for and protect his family. That is why the man without hesitation took up the defense of Ukraine from the Russian invaders in 2022. Fedir joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and sought to liberate his native country from the enemy. He served in the 80th separate air assault brigade. Performed combat missions in various directions. "He was always in a hurry to help everyone and was a kind soul. Cherish every moment of your life, because someone gave their life for your life. With pain and sorrow, his wife and daughter Mira. Forever in our hearts, our Angel," wrote the fallen warrior's wife. Fedir was buried in his hometown. At home, he was awaited by his mother, wife, two sons and daughter Mira, who was only a year old at the time of his father's death. The warrior was posthumously awarded the Order of Courage of the III degree.
