Fedir V. Velykyi

Soldier Fedir Velykyi (call sign Agronom) was killed on October 13, 2022, near the settlement of Nevelske in the Donetsk region. While performing his official duties, he received fatal injuries as a result of a direct hit by a tank shell. The warrior was 27 years old. Fedir was born in the city of Snihurівka, Mykolaiv region. He graduated from the Mykolaiv National Agrarian University with a degree in Agronomy. He worked in his specialty at the companies "Nibulon" and "Nor-Est Agro". During the full-scale invasion, the man voluntarily joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 56th Separate Motorized Infantry Mariupol Brigade. He held the position of senior rifleman. "Fedya was the best husband and father. We met at the university and went towards our goal together. On the first day of the full-scale invasion, he voluntarily went to the army, saying that he had to be there! It was difficult to accept, but his word was law, and we could only pray and support him. Unfortunately, after his death, everything changed very much. They say that time heals, but it only helps to accept what cannot be changed. Every evening, our son looks up at the sky and says that his father is the brightest star and he is a Hero!" - said the wife of the fallen defender, Natalia. The military was buried in the Alley of Glory of the cemetery in the city of Yuzhnoukrainsk, Mykolaiv region. At home, Fedir was awaited by his parents, younger brother, wife, and son.
