Hennadii M. Kuprikov

Military serviceman Hennadiy Kuprykov died on October 25, 2022, in a hospital in Kramatorsk from severe shrapnel wounds sustained in battle. Doctors at the military medical hospital fought for his life until the end, but the defender's heart stopped. Hennadiy was 34 years old; he was born and lived in the town of Kaharlyk in the Kyiv region. In 2014, Hennadiy defended the independence of our state in the ranks of the National Guard of Ukraine during the ATO. In 2019, he participated in the JFO under contract. On the first day of the full-scale invasion, he was called up to the guard company of the 2nd department of the Obukhiv District Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Center. Later, Hennadiy served in the 53rd separate mechanized brigade named after Prince Volodymyr Monomakh. In its ranks, he fought his last battle against the Russian invaders. He was bid farewell by his fellow countrymen in his hometown of Kaharlyk on November 9, 2022. Hennadiy left behind a young son who lives with his ex-wife.
