- Born on December 6, 1973, in the urban-type settlement of Kulykivka, Kulykivka District, Chernihiv Oblast. In 1991, he graduated from the secondary school of the urban-type settlement of Kulykivka. From November 1991, he served in the Armed Forces of the USSR/Ukraine, from which he entered a military school in July 1992. In June 1997, he graduated from the Kyiv Military Institute of Management and Communications. From June 1997 to October 2006, he served in various positions, and from October 2006 to April 2007, he was a senior officer of the information processing department of the 99th Command and Reconnaissance Center of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A4507, Chernihiv). From April 2007 to January 2009, he was an officer in the personnel management department of military personnel, from January 2009 to August 2010, he was the head of the administrative department, and from August 2010 to June 2012, he was the head of the automation and information processing group of the Personnel Center of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A2202, Kyiv). Since June 2012, he has been the head of the military communications service of the rear of the Command of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A0105, Kyiv). He participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On February 2, 2015, Lieutenant Colonel Snihok was killed as a result of a mortar shelling of the Ukrainian military base camp near the city of Debaltseve, Donetsk Oblast. On February 5, 2015, he was buried in the cemetery of the urban-type settlement of Kulykivka. On April 3, 2015, a memorial plaque was unveiled in the urban-type settlement of Kulykivka on the facade of the building of the general education school (Shevchenka Street, 4), where Ihor Snihok studied.Book of Remembrance for Ukraine - Ukrainian memorial
