Hennadii V. Ivanov

Ivanov Hennadiy Valentynovych was born in 1973 in the Khmilnytskyi region. He served in the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, holding the position of head of the group of engineering vehicles. He was killed on February 24, 2022, on the first day of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, during an attack by enemy aircraft near the village of Tarasivka in the Kherson region. For personal courage and selfless actions displayed in defending the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, as well as loyalty to the military oath, Ivanov Hennadiy Valentynovych was posthumously awarded the Order of Courage, 3rd degree.
