Hennadii V. Kolisnyk

43-year-old serviceman Hennadiy Kolisnyk was killed on December 28, 2022, in battles near the city of Bakhmut in the Donetsk region. Hennadiy was born in the city of Kramatorsk, Donetsk region. In 2002, he obtained the profession of a physical education teacher at the Sloviansk State Pedagogical Institute. He was engaged in mountain tourism and was an instructor for children and youth, as well as a 1st category sports judge. In 2014, he headed the Donetsk Regional Center for Tourism and Local History of Student Youth. He was also the deputy chairman of the separate division of the Federation of Sports Tourism of Ukraine "Donetsk Regional Federation of Sports Tourism". He was engaged in the restoration of the center's activities, worked with young people and on their patriotic upbringing. He took part in the organization of the All-Ukrainian Children's and Youth Military-Patriotic Game "Sokil" ("Dzhura) and in the development of the Plast movement. After the full-scale Russian invasion, the man went to serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine and stood up to defend his native Donetsk region. Hennadiy was buried in his native Kramatorsk. Three children were left orphans. Hennadiy's wife was killed a few years earlier.
