Hennadii V. Syniavskyi

Master Sergeant Gennady Sinyavsky was killed on May 28, 2022, while performing a combat mission in the area of the village of Komyshuva, Zaporizhia region. The defender was 54 years old. Gennady was born in the village of Danylo-Ivanivka, Zaporizhia region. He lived in Zaporizhia. In 1986, he graduated from the Melitopol Technical School of Land Reclamation and Agricultural Mechanization, specializing in "Mechanization of land reclamation works". He served in the army. When he returned, he continued his service at the Melitopol military airfield. In peacetime, he was engaged in horticulture. After the start of the full-scale invasion, Gennady joined the 124th separate brigade of the territorial defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, holding the position of a rifleman company technician. "My brother was very sensitive, he was always helping in everything. He never complained about life. Even being at war, he always calmed us down and said that everything would be fine. We will win!" - his sister Elena Ishchenko said. "He was kind, cheerful, sincere. He loved life, his native Motherland. He firmly believed in our victory. We miss him very much," said his niece Daria Wagner. The defender was buried at the Kushuhum cemetery in Zaporizhia. Gennady is survived by his sisters, nephews and an 18-year-old son.
