Hennadii Yu. Nuka

Senior soldier Henanadii Nuka was killed on January 22, 2023 in battle with the occupiers near the village of Bilohirivka in the Donetsk region. The warrior was 31 years old. Henanadii was born in the village of Tarasivtsi, Chernivtsi region. He graduated from the Novoselytskyi Lyceum. He was married. More than anything, he dreamed that his family would be provided for, so he constantly worked hard. He loved to fish and spend time with his family. In 2016-2019, the man fought in the ATO/OOS in Donbas. He was a soldier of the 24th separate mechanized brigade. Later he returned to civilian life. With the start of the full-scale war, Henanadii again took up the defense of the Motherland in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He was a senior rifleman of the 8th separate mountain-assault battalion of the 10th brigade. He fought on various fronts. "Henanadii was a sociable and friendly person, a caring father and loving son, a reliable friend and comrade. He always joked and lifted the spirits of everyone around him. He was brave, courageous and always moved towards his goal. He wanted his daughter and wife to live in a free and unconquered country... It is difficult not to hold a grudge. We believe in a better tomorrow. We know who is right. We will not forget the voices of the heroes," wrote the deceased's wife Anastasiia. The warrior was buried in his native village. At home, Henanadii was awaited by his wife and daughter, who was 1 year old at the time of his death.
