Biography
He served in the Gulu Battalion and in 2008 defended Georgia against Russian aggression. Later, he moved to Turkey, where he lived permanently with his family. After the outbreak of the military conflict with the Russian Federation, he came to Ukraine as a volunteer, becoming an instructor for the Azov Regiment. On April 18, 2015, he was killed in battle with the occupiers near the village of Shyrokyne. Georgiy's body was managed to be evacuated after 10 hours of negotiations involving the OSCE, during which an explosion occurred as the enemies had booby-trapped the deceased. Later, former Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili reported that the Georgian volunteer killed a Russian instructor before his death. On April 24, 2015, a farewell took place at Kyiv's Maidan Nezalezhnosti.Military service

Killed in action on April 18, 2015, in a battle with the occupiers in the area of the village of Shyrokyne, Volnovakha district, Donetsk region. A sabotage and reconnaissance group of the enemy encountered the positions of the Azov regiment. As a result of the battle, Georgiy sustained fatal injuries; his body remained in the area under fire, and Russian militants did not allow it to be retrieved, later mining the area. The deceased was able to be evacuated after 10 hours of negotiations involving the OSCE.Burial place
