- Soldier Grigory Klyuk was killed in action on March 23, 2022, in battles near the city of Bucha, Kyiv region. The 46-year-old defender received fatal shrapnel wounds. Grigory was born in the city of Khotyn, Chernivtsi region. He stu at the Professional Technical School No. 21. He lived in the village of Cheponosi, Chernivtsi region, where he created a family, worked, and made plans. He loved sports, especially football. He played for the local village team. The man participated in the ATO when the Russian-Ukrainian war began. Therefore, from the first days of the full-scale Russian invasion, he did not hesitate but immediately stood up to defend Ukraine. In the ranks of the 108th Separate Mountain Assault Battalion of the 10th Mountain Assault Brigade, Grigory participated in the defense of the Kyiv region. He held the position of mechanic-driver-electrician of the battalion's command and control platoon. During the battles near the village of Korolivka near Bucha, the defender fought his last battle. "My husband was the best husband and father in the world. He did not have time to enjoy his little son," said his wife, Tatyana. "Grigory Grigoryevich Klyuk was very friendly, responsible, balanced - a real man. In November, he would have turned 47 years old. He was involved in sports and was sensitive to the problems of others. This is an irreparable loss," noted the deputy village head Valery Maryniak. The soldier was buried in the village of Cheponosi, Chernivtsi region. At home, his wife and little son were waiting for the defender.
