Hryhorii H. Semiletkov (Soma)

Soldier Hryhoriy Semiletkov (call sign Syoma) was killed on February 24, 2023 while performing a combat mission near the settlement of Velyka Novosilka in the Donetsk region. The fighter was 55 years old. Hryhoriy was born and lived in Kyiv. He was a professional driver. He worked in his specialty. In his free time, he went fishing with friends and his nephew. He also loved to spend weekends with his family in nature. During the full-scale invasion, the man volunteered for the army. He served in the 26th Separate Rifle Battalion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. "Hryhoriy was my stepfather. Our family loved him. He was an honest, decent, religious and kind person. At work, he was highly respected and listened to, as he had a lot of experience. His comrades-in-arms also valued him. He was very sincere and responsible. A caring husband, father and brother. Even at war, he cared for his loved ones. He was at the front for a year without rotation and vacations," said the deceased's daughter Tetiana. The defender was buried at the Berkovets cemetery in his native Kyiv. Hryhoriy is survived by his wife, daughter, brother and nieces.
