Hryhorii I. Mostovyi (Most)

Defender Hryhoriy Mostovyi (call sign Most) was killed on February 9, 2023, while carrying out a combat mission near the village of Klishchiyivka in the Donetsk region. The defender did not live 10 days until his 51st birthday. Hryhoriy was born in the village of Mostovivshchyna, Poltava region. He dreamed of becoming a teacher, but did not pass the exams. Therefore, he graduated from the Khorol Agrarian College. He worked in a collective farm, then was a migrant worker in Poland. But in the end, he returned to his native village. He was engaged in agriculture. He kept an apiary. During the full-scale Russian invasion, the man was mobilized into the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He held the position of a driver in the grenade launcher section of the 5th separate assault brigade. "He was a very kind, loving man, a caring father, a good master. He loved to work on the land, engaged in his apiary. Hrysha loved life very much, loved to live and fill life with joy, he was a very romantic person. He read a lot of books, was an interesting interlocutor," said the wife of the fallen Larysa. The fighter was buried in his native village. Hryhoriy is survived by his wife, son, relatives and friends.
