Hryhorii O. Pavlov (Floryst)

Paratrooper Hryhoriy Pavlov (call sign Florist) was killed on September 24, 2023 in a battle with the occupiers near the village of Verbove, Zaporizhzhia region. He received fatal injuries during enemy artillery shelling. The defender was 35 years old. Hryhoriy was born in Mykolaiv. He had a secondary education. He lived with his family in the village of Riv, Vinnytsia region. He had been working as a florist since the age of 16 and loved working with flowers. After having children, he devoted most of his free time to his family, whom he valued above all else. During the full-scale Russian invasion, the man was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. After training, he joined the 82nd Separate Air Assault Brigade. He held the position of deputy commander of the combat vehicle, gunner, and section operator. "He was fair, kind, and always helped everyone. A caring father, a faithful friend, the best husband," said the wife of the deceased. Hryhoriy was buried in the village of Riv, Vinnytsia region. At home, the defender was awaited by his mother Anzhela Petrivna, wife Nadiya, daughter Alina, and son Dmytro.
