Ihor A. Vialin (Malyi)

Soldier Igor Vyalin (call sign Malyi) was killed on January 11, 2023, sustaining a fatal explosive injury near the settlement of Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region. The defender was 23 years old. Igor was born and lived in the village of Sydorova Yaruha, Sumy region. He graduated from the 11th grade of Dobrianska School. He studied at a driving school. He was passionate about cars. He had many plans and dreams for the life that was just beginning. During the full-scale Russian invasion, Igor joined the ranks of the airborne assault troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 112th battalion of the 81st separate airmobile brigade. He carried out tasks in various directions of the front and wanted to return home as soon as possible. He planned to get married, but did not have time. "Smart, kind, always ready to help. He was the best of the best. He is not one of those who hide. He just bravely went to the military enlistment office," said the fiancée of the deceased, Sophia. The young paratrooper was buried in his native village. Igor left behind his parents, brothers, fiancée and a son born in 2022.
