Ihor B. Koshlai (Did)

Soldier Igor Koshlai (call sign Grandad) was killed on January 7, 2024 while carrying out a combat mission near the village of Novodarivka in the Zaporizhia region. The warrior was 50 years old. Igor was a native of the city of Lviv. He graduated from secondary school No. 79. Later he received education at the Lviv Secondary Vocational School No. 57. In civilian life, he worked in the construction industry. In his free time, he loved fishing and resting in the mountains. In May 2023, the man was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He fought in the ranks of the 15th battalion of the 128th separate mountain assault brigade. "Dad was an exceptionally kind, decent and sincere person, a loving father and husband," said Diana Koshlai. The defender was buried in the village of Kamyanopil in the Lviv region, where he spent his childhood. Igor is survived by his wife and daughter.
