- Police Lieutenant Ihor Deineka (call sign Aryan) was killed on September 17, 2023, while carrying out a combat mission near the settlement of Kurdiumivka in the Donetsk region. As a result of enemy mortar shelling, he sustained fatal injuries. In July, the warrior would have turned 23 years old. Ihor was born in the city of Dniprorудne, Zaporizhzhia region. After finishing school, he studied at the Dniprorудne Industrial College, specializing in "Construction and operation of civil structures". But then he realized that his calling was to protect people. So in 2019, he entered the Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. After graduation, he worked in the Zaporizhzhia Patrol Police Department. He was engaged in various sports: boxing, judo, MMA. He regularly went to the gym. With the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the man refused to cooperate with the occupiers and left his occupied hometown to Zaporizhzhia, where he continued to work as a policeman. He was transferred from the National Police Department to the united assault brigade "Fury". He held the position of platoon inspector. He took part in battles on various fronts. He went on reconnaissance, assault the area, and evacuation. He often saved the lives of his comrades-in-arms. "Ihor was very brave, smart, attentive, a loyal friend, a true warrior, a man of his word and courage. He honorably defended Ukraine, dreamed of victory, deoccupation of his hometown, and did everything to worthily resist the enemy. Ihor did a lot for our country, and there were many more plans, but it all ended in an instant. He never hesitated, whether to go or not. He is a true example of patriotism and devotion to his country," wrote his beloved Daria Zamrii. The policeman was buried at the Kapustianе cemetery in Zaporizhzhia. Ihor is survived by his parents and girlfriend. The defender was posthumously awarded the "Cross of the Brave" and the Order of Courage of the III degree.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
