Ihor I. Kokodyniak

Igor Igorovych Kokodyniak was born on April 24, 1997 in the village of Velykyi Liubin, Lviv region. In childhood and youth, he lived in the city of Sambir, Lviv region. He studied at the Sambir Specialized School No. 8 with in-depth study of the English language. Later, he graduated from the Sambir Lyceum of Service Sphere. In 2016, he began service in the border troops. And in September 2020, he was drafted into the ranks of the 80th separate air assault brigade. As part of the airborne troops, he repeatedly participated in the Joint Forces Operation in eastern Ukraine. He was killed on March 3, 2022 during the battles in the village of Vorzel, Kyiv region. The bodies of the fallen were only able to be recovered after the liberation of the territories by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The farewell to Igor Kokodyniak took place on April 11, 2022 on the Square of Memory in the city of Sambir, Lviv region.
