Ihor I. Kravchuk (Yashchirka)

Soldier Igor Kravchuk (call sign Lizard) was killed on December 9, 2022, while carrying out a combat mission near the village of Klishchiyivka in the Donetsk region. The defender was 50 years old. Igor Kravchuk was born in the village of Bokov, Ternopil region. He received secondary education. He worked at agricultural enterprises and construction sites. He dedicated his free time to his family, especially his children. During the full-scale Russian invasion, the man defended his homeland as part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 24th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after King Danylo. He held the position of driver-mechanic. "My husband was a wonderful person, a wonderful and loving father. He never left anyone in trouble, always helped everyone at any time of the day and night. He resolved all troubles peacefully, and his friends enviously admired his determination. They often said about him that he was a golden person. Husband and children are the greatest happiness I had, but the war took him away. We have underage children left, two of them are disabled. We miss him very much and will never forget him. He will forever remain in our hearts and memory," said Halyna Kravchuk. The warrior was buried in the village of Popil, Lviv region. Igor Kravchuk is survived by his wife and three children.
