Ihor I. Tarnovetskyi

I dreamed of becoming a military officer, but I did not get into military school — I did not pass the medical commission. In 2008, I was declared unfit for military service. I graduated from the Faculty of Biology at Chernivtsi National University named after Fedkovych, and in 2007 I obtained a degree as a land management engineer. In 2006, I worked as a land manager at the State Land Cadastre Center (Kitsman), in 2007 — as a lawyer's assistant at "Hotel Bukovina" LLC, and as an assistant to the district land manager in the Department of Urban Development and Architecture of the Chernivtsi City Council. In 2008-2009, I was an inspector and chief specialist at the State Land Inspection of Ukraine, in Chernivtsi. Since 2014, I have been a land management technician at the State Land Cadastre in Zastavna. In 2015, I left a well-paid job and was mobilized as a volunteer. On August 3, 2016, I signed a contract, and from the end of 2016, I participated in combat operations. I served as a surveyor in military unit A2308 (161st Topographic Survey Center). At the beginning of 2017, I was assigned to the 28th Mechanized Brigade. I last went to the ATO zone on December 19, 2018.
