      • Born on April 4, 1980, in the village of Mechislavka, Ulyanivsk (since 2016 - Blahovishchenske) district of Kirovohrad region. Graduated from the general education school of the village of Mechislavka. Worked as a laborer for a local farmer. On June 7, 2015, he was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 53rd Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit V0927, in the cities of Sievierodonetsk/Lysychansk, Luhansk region). Since 2015, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On the night of July 27 to 28, 2016, soldier Kushnir was killed during a combat encounter with an enemy sabotage-reconnaissance group in the area of the city of Volnovakha, Donetsk region. On July 31, 2016, he was buried in the cemetery of the village of Mechislavka, Blahovishchenske district, Kirovohrad region.
