Ihor M. Baitala

Killed in action on April 3, 2021. In the evening, Ihor disappeared from the positions of the unit near the town of Novhorodske in the Toretsk City Council of Donetsk region. His weapon was left at the unit's location, and no traces of a clash were found at the place where the soldier was last seen. On April 6, Ihor's body was handed over to the Ukrainian side by representatives of the occupiers. Among the versions of his death are loss of orientation and capture or abduction by an enemy sabotage and reconnaissance group.
