Ihor M. Kasianov

Military serviceman Ihor Kasyanov was killed on September 11, 2022, while fulfilling a combat mission near the village of Pisky in the Donetsk region. The defender was 47 years old. Ihor was born in the city of Alchevsk, Luhansk region. He graduated from the Donbas State Technical University with a degree in mechanical engineering. After the start of the Russo-Ukrainian war, he moved to Kyiv. He worked in the field of "green" energy. In 2017, he moved to the city of Kramatorsk, where he worked as an energy engineer at the Novokramatorsk Machine-Building Plant. When the full-scale war began, he decided to defend his native Ukraine. He joined the ranks of the 56th Separate Motorized Infantry Mariupol Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served as a sniper. He defended his native Donbas from Russian occupiers until his last breath. The defender was buried in Lviv.
