Ihor M. Likhonin

Ihor Mykolayovych Likhonin participated in the ATO in Eastern Ukraine. With the onset of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, he was on the front lines, serving in one of the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. During the execution of another combat mission, he sustained injuries that were incompatible with life. The soldier was buried in his hometown of Kharkiv. For his personal courage during combat missions, selfless actions displayed in defense of the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, and loyalty to the military oath, Ihor Mykolayovych Likhonin was posthumously awarded the Order of Courage of the III degree.
