Ihor M. Matiishyn (MIM)

Ihor Mykhailovych Matiyishyn was born on June 22, 1992, in the city of Stryi, Lviv region. He graduated from Stryi Secondary School No. 3. After the 9th grade, he enrolled in Stryi College and later studied at the National University of "Lviv Polytechnic" majoring in "Law". From 2015 to 2016, he served under mobilization. He participated in combat operations in the area of the ATO / JFO. Since June 2021, he served under contract in the Presidential Regiment. He was killed on March 4, 2022, in the settlement of Andriichikove in Mykolaiv region. The funeral service took place on March 8 at the Church of St. John the Baptist. He is buried in the Alley of Glory in the city of Stryi, Lviv region.
